About
Walk the Art Talk is an art project partially funded by a grant awarded to Diego Cardoso by the Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Los Angeles. Cardoso invited three artists to participate in this cultural project to create art as an expression of the experiences the artists had while traveling on transit in greater East Los Angeles. The Metro East Side Gold Line was the main mobility vehicle. The guest artists Romero, Medina and Pineda used photography to create their art work. Along with coordinating the project, Diego Cardoso also created 10 paintings. Diego focused several of his paintings on the Boyle Heights Bridge Runners. Self Help Graphics administered the grant.
