About
ALL OF US features works by multidisciplinary artist Rob Grad, printmaker Jared Aufrichtig, and painters Bert Esenherz, Louis XXX, Nicholas Tredway, Emmeric Konrad, and Clairfoster Browne.
Artist and pro-skater Jared Aufrichtig debuts his print of "Thalente". Made from a 35mm film image of Thalente Biyela taken by Aufrichtig 10 years ago when Thalente was a homeless child living on the streets of Durban, South Africa in a beachfront skatepark.Fast forward 10 years Thalente is living in LA as a pro skater traveling the world with Tony Hawk, won the Laureus Sport Athlete of the year award and has an award winning documentary film about his life.
A new series by Bert Esenherz highlights his figurative monochromatic works. These pieces are drastically different from his abstract works of the past several years, showing his ability to stay fresh and show his incredible talent across many styles of painting.
Rob Grads plexiglass and aluminum pieces are layered with painting and photography, each layer intricately cut around the splashes of paint while abstract faces peer through stunning landscapes.
Clairfoster Browne will be premiering two new pieces, each a reflection of the community of Liemert Park.
Emmeric Konrad returns to our exhibition with his newest piece: Two Friends Drinking In Skid Row- A dedication to Thomas, one of Skid Rows recently departed and friend of the artist.
We will also be serving wine and cocktails to guests 21+.
