Artist Biography

Kenny Irwin Jr. resides in Palm Springs, California.  Kenny’s art has been influenced by space exploration, spiritual pursuits and a search for man’s place in the universe.  A consistent theme found in his work would be human relationships to material consumption and machines.  His finely detailed works are realized in multiple mediums ranging from installations to found art sculpture, drawings, ceramics and resin sculpture. Irwin graduated from California College of Art and Design in Oakland CA with a degree in Fine Arts in 1995.  His lifelong art project, Robolights, has been a featured art installation in Palm Springs for over 20 years.  His work has been shown at  MOCAD, featured on the Conan O'brian Show and has been featured in multiple media publications such as the LA Times, NY Times, Huffington Post, CNN and most recently Juxtapoz magazine.


REN Gallery is currently hosting Kenny Irwin Jr.'s LA debut exhibition titled Recycled Media, which opened on Earth Day, April 22nd 2022 and closes on June 11th 2022.
